2012 Training Conferences
Our 2012 West Texas Conference is but a memory, and
speaking only for myself, I am so glad it is in the rearview
mirror !! It was a most difficult challenge for me to act as Host,
President, Training Instructor, and Hospitality Host in the same
year, and I simply hope that everyone had a good time and
enjoyed the training that was provided. Thanks to all those
who really pitched in to lend a hand and to our great guest
instructors, and everyone else who provided their support.
For 2013, we head off to Amarillo, where Constable Morice
Jackson, Judge Nancy Bosquez, and Judge Aurora
Hernandez will be our hosts, along with help from our new
President, Judge Rita Little as well as the rest of the
Panhandle Crew.
So let's look forward to another great conference in Amarillo -
I'm sure our hosts will be waiting with open arms and go all out
to make us feel at home.
JPCA STATE CONFERENCE - SOUTH PADRE ISLAND
Back to the beach for 2012, the Isla Grand Resort is our host
for the statewide JPCA conference this year. (HINT: don't
follow in my footsteps - ties are NOT allowed in South Padre!)
The conference will be June 24-28, 2012, and according to the
Gavel and the Badge, rooms are filling up fast! Call the Isla
Grand Resort at 1-800-292-7704 to make your reservations
today. Room rates are $129.00 per night for Cabana rooms,
and $258.00 per night for Condo rooms.
